ബര്‍ലിന്‍: ജര്‍മനിയിലെ ബ്രാന്‍ഡന്‍ബുര്‍ഗ് സംസ്ഥാനത്തിലെ ക്രെമ്മന്‍ പ്രദേശത്ത് പക്ഷിപ്പനിയുടെ വകഭേദമായ ഏവിയന്‍ ഇന്‍ഫ്ലുവന്‍സ ബാധിച്ച 5,000 ഓളം വാത്തകളെ കൊന്നൊടുക്കി. ക്രെമ്മന്‍ ശതാവരി ഫാമിലെ ഓപ്പറേഷന്‍സ് മാനേജര്‍ മാള്‍ട്ടെ വോയിറ്റ്സ് ആണ് ഇക്കാര്യം സ്ഥിരീകരിച്ചത്. ബര്‍ലിനിന്റെ വടക്കുപടിഞ്ഞാറുള്ള ലിനൂമര്‍ ടീഷെ തടാകങ്ങളില്‍, രക്ഷാപ്രവര്‍ത്തകര്‍ എല്ലാ ദിവസവും നൂറുകണക്കിന് ചത്ത ക്രെയിനുകളെ കണ്ടെത്തുന്നുണ്ട്. ടീഷെ തടാകങ്ങളില്‍, പതിനായിരക്കണക്കിന് ആളുകളുടെ ഫാമുകളില്‍ മാരകമായ ജന്തുരോഗം ബാധിച്ചുകഴിഞ്ഞു. രക്ഷാപ്രവര്‍ത്തകര്‍ നൂറുകണക്കിന് ചത്ത പക്ഷികളെ അവയുടെ കൂടുകളില്‍ നിന്ന് വീണ്ടെടുക്കുന്നു. സംരക്ഷണ സ്യൂട്ടുകളും മാസ്കുകളും ധരിച്ചാണ് പ്രവര്‍ത്തകര്‍ കൂടുകള്‍ ഒഴിപ്പിയ്ക്കുന്നത്. നഷ്ടം 350,000 യൂറോയായി കണക്കാക്കുന്നു
